Steven B. Gruber is
a Managing Partner of Oak Hill, having been with
the Firm for 15 years, and also serves as non-executive
Chairman of ExlService Holdings, Inc. Mr. Gruber
has senior responsibility for originating, structuring
and managing investments for the Firm's Healthcare
and Business and Financial Services industry groups,
as well as overseeing other management activities.
He also serves on the boards of American Skiing
Company, Blackboard Inc., Caliber Holdings Corporation,
Metrika, Inc., TravelCenters of America, Inc. and
Williams Scotsman, Inc. Mr. Gruber previously was
a founder and managing partner of Insurance Partners
(and continues to have responsibilities with respect
to the disposition of the remaining assets) and
was a Managing Director and Co-Head of High Yield
Securities at Lehman Brothers and a Managing Director
of its merchant banking group, as well as a member
of Lehman Brothers' Investment Committee. He earned
a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and
an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate
School of Business, where he was a Merrill Fellow. |

David Grossman is a
Partner in the Research Department at Thomas Weisel
Partners LLC, where he covers Outsourced Business
and Technology Services. Previously, Mr. Grossman
was a Senior Managing Director at NationsBanc Montgomery
Securities, where he followed the same sector. He
has been covering the BPO sector since its nascency,
from the early Infosys days. Mr. Grossman earned
his undergraduate degree from the University of
Wisconsin and his Master of Business Administration
degree from the Wharton School at the University
of Pennsylvania.
Thomas Weisel Partners is a merchant bank providing
investment banking, institutional brokerage, private
client services, private equity investing and asset
management exclusively focused on the growth sectors
of the economy. |

Mohan Sawhney is the
McCormick Tribune Professor of Technology and the
Director of the Center for Research in Technology
& Innovation at the Kellogg School of Management,
Northwestern University.
Prof. Sawhney is a globally recognized scholar,
teacher, consultant and speaker in strategic marketing,
e-business and innovation. His research and teaching
interests include collaborative marketing with customers,
IT and business agility, customer-centric organization
design, organic growth and business innovation.
He has been widely recognized as a thought leader.
Business Week named him as one of the 25 most influential
people in e-Business. Crain’s Chicago Business
named him a member of “40 under 40”,
a select group of young business leaders in the
Chicago area. He is a Fellow of the World Economic
Forum.
Prof. Sawhney is the co-author of three books
- The Seven Steps to Nirvana: Strategic Insights
into eBusiness Transformation, Techventure: New
Rules for Value and Profit from Silicon Valley,
and Kellogg on Technology & Innovation. He
has also co-authored PhotoWars, a strategy simulation
game. His research has been published in leading
journals like California Management Review, Harvard
Business Review, Journal of Interactive Marketing,
Management Science, Marketing Science, MIT Sloan
Management Review, and Journal of the Academy
of Marketing Science. |

Simon Machell till
recently was Customer Service Director for Norwich
Union Insurance and carried responsibility for all
aspects of claims management and the underwriting,
servicing, and credit control for personal lines,
small business insurance and corporate partners.
He joined Norwich Union (Aviva) in 1994, undertaking
a number of senior finance positions before taking
over the running of claims in 1998 and was responsible
for all offshoring by Aviva. Mr. Machell was chairman
of the Motor Insurers' Bureau, and of the liaison
group between the Insurance Ombudsman and the industry.
He also chairs the board of Solus, Norwich Union's
joint venture motor body repairers. Mr. Machell
has recently been appointed as the Managing Director
of RAC. He is an Economics graduate and a Chartered
Accountant. |

James C. Hale III,
a Partner, co-founded FTVentures in 1998 and served
as Managing Partner until 2004. He has over 25 years
of commercial and investment banking experience.
Before creating FTVentures, he founded and managed
the financial services corporate finance practice
as a Partner at Montgomery Securities. While at
Montgomery, Mr. Hale was responsible for over 200
transactions in the financial services industry.
Prior to Montgomery, Mr. Hale founded the corporate
development group at Bank of America. He is a co-founder
and board member of the San Francisco Venture Capital
Forum and serves as a member of the DUMAC (Duke
University) Investment Board. Mr. Hale received
a BS from the University of California at Berkeley
and an MBA from Harvard University and is a CPA.
Mr. Hale serves on the boards of six FTVentures
portfolio companies: Caplin Systems, EXL, iPhrase
Technologies, Nexxar Group, Verus Financial Management
and Xign Corporation.
