Position profile

ExlService.com, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Sales in Finance and Accounting based in its New York office with frequent travel to oversee business development and business evaluation in finance and accounting services. Supervise a staff of highly trained and educated financial services professionals to determine clients' financial services needs and leverage business opportunities. Manage the creation and opening of new corporate accounts. Prepare forms or agreements to complete sales. Manage operations for pre-sales accounts and post-sales accounts for up to 18-24 months following the transaction. Work with established global delivery models. Review business trends in order to advise clients regarding expected fluctuations. Make presentations on financial services. Prepare and submit RFPs. Develop BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and third-party consulting lines of business. Evaluate costs and revenue of agreements to determine continued profitability. Create targeted business marketing plans based on evaluation of potential client business. Research, analyze, and evaluate prospective businesses in the finance and accounting industries. Evaluate, negotiate, plan and convert proposals into new accounts. Develop game plans for each market segment or prospect. Conduct pipeline management and identify new areas of growth and opportunity. Position involves extensive travel. Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week; 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Management, or closely related field plus five years of progressive experience managing business development in the financial services sector. Within the five years, must have two years experience in:

working with global delivery models,
developing BPO and consulting lines of business,
supervising a large staff of sales professionals in pre-sales and post-sales account management. Must be willing and able to travel extensively.
