EXL Recognized Among Global Insurance BPO Leaders

EXL's position as a Tier 1, global BPO player in the insurance sector has been reinforced by the results of two global independent surveys. EXL has a mention among the World's Top Outsourcing Providers for the insurance industry in The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals' (IAOP) sub-list of Global Outsourcing 100 released in September 2006. And, in another ranking released by the Brown-Wilson Group, Inc. in The Black Book of Outsourcing, EXL is ranked No. 1 among the Top 10 Insurance BPO Outsourcing Provider.

IAOP announced the list of Global Outsourcing 100, the first ever ranking of the world's top outsourcing service providers in April 2006. The list with Leaders and Rising Stars as the two categories was featured in the April 2006 issue of FORTUNE® magazine. EXL was ranked Number One in the Rising Stars category.

The sub-lists of World's Top Outsourcing Providers for various categories are based on the industries a company serves, services it provides and regions it delivers services to. In the same release, EXL also gets a mention in the Top Offshoring Providers and Top BPO Providers lists. The Top BPO Providers list was published on 4 September 2006 issue of FORTUNE® magazine.

The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) is the global, standard-setting organization and advocate for the outsourcing profession. Through professional and ethical standards, the Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) Program, educational programs including The Outsourcing World Summit®, and recognitions such as The Outsourcing Hall of Fame and The Global Outsourcing 100, IAOP is advancing one of the 21st century's most important new management fields - outsourcing.

In The Black Book of Outsourcing by the Brown-Wilson Group, Inc., EXL is positioned as No. 1 in the Top 10 Insurance BPO Outsourcing Providers list. EXL is also featured among The Top 50 Best Managed Global Outsourcing Vendors 2006 list in the publication. There were 18 parameters used to evaluate insurance BPO outsourcing vendors. The parameters on which EXL appeared at the top are Vendor Overall Preference/ Recommendation, Training, Flexible Pricing and Licensing, Client Adaptability, Scalability, Reliability, and Best of Breed Technology and Process Improvement.
