EXL's position as a Tier 1, global BPO player in
the insurance sector has been reinforced by the
results of two global independent surveys. EXL has
a mention among the World's Top Outsourcing Providers
for the insurance industry in The International
Association of Outsourcing Professionals' (IAOP)
sub-list of Global Outsourcing 100 released in September
2006. And, in another ranking released by the Brown-Wilson
Group, Inc. in The Black Book of Outsourcing, EXL
is ranked No. 1 among the Top 10 Insurance BPO Outsourcing
Provider.
IAOP announced the list of Global Outsourcing 100,
the first ever ranking of the world's top outsourcing
service providers in April 2006. The list with Leaders
and Rising Stars as the two categories was featured
in the April 2006 issue of FORTUNE® magazine.
EXL was ranked Number One in the Rising Stars category.
The sub-lists of World's Top Outsourcing Providers
for various categories are based on the industries
a company serves, services it provides and regions
it delivers services to. In the same release, EXL
also gets a mention in the Top Offshoring Providers
and Top BPO Providers lists. The Top BPO Providers
list was published on 4 September 2006 issue of
FORTUNE® magazine.
The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals
(IAOP) is the global, standard-setting organization
and advocate for the outsourcing profession. Through
professional and ethical standards, the Certified
Outsourcing Professional (COP) Program, educational
programs including The Outsourcing World Summit®,
and recognitions such as The Outsourcing Hall of
Fame and The Global Outsourcing 100, IAOP is advancing
one of the 21st century's most important new management
fields - outsourcing.
In The Black Book of Outsourcing by the Brown-Wilson
Group, Inc., EXL is positioned as No. 1 in the Top
10 Insurance BPO Outsourcing Providers list. EXL
is also featured among The Top 50 Best Managed Global
Outsourcing Vendors 2006 list in the publication.
There were 18 parameters used to evaluate insurance
BPO outsourcing vendors. The parameters on which
EXL appeared at the top are Vendor Overall Preference/
Recommendation, Training, Flexible Pricing and Licensing,
Client Adaptability, Scalability, Reliability, and
Best of Breed Technology and Process Improvement.
The 2006 survey by Brown-Wilson Group and The Black
Book of Outsourcing was conducted on 872 outsourcing
vendors spread over 63 countries. It consisted of
26 questions on leadership impact, influence, management
performance, client satisfaction, employee satisfaction
and organizational excellence. |
