Rohit Kapoor
Vice Chairman and CEO, EXL

Rohit Kapoor is Vice Chairman, CEO and a member of the Executive Committee. An industry pioneer, Rohit co-founded EXL in April 1999 and has led the firm’s rapid evolution from a provider of operational support services to a global leader in analytics and digital solutions.

In the early stages of EXL, Rohit was instrumental in achieving several acquisitions that established the company’s capabilities and spurred strong avenues of growth. He led the company’s IPO in 2006, and has managed consistent expansion and fiscal performance that outpaced the S&P 500. He also leads EXL’s sustainability initiatives, focused on the continued resilience of the company and ongoing talent development.

Prior to EXL, Rohit served in various roles at Deutsche Bank private banking division. He started his career at Bank of America, where he held several management positions throughout the U.S. and Asia. Rohit has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management.

Rohit is an active member and prior chairman of the National Association of Software and Services Companies or NASSCOM BPM Council, and a member of the Fortune CEO initiative. In addition, he is director of the New York tri-state chapter of Pratham USA, a non-profit organization, and serves on the board of directors of the America India Foundation.

Ankor Rai
Chief Digital Officer

Over the last 20 years, Ankor has led the growth of very profitable Data/Analytics/AI businesses developing high impact solutions for Fortune 500 Banking, Insurance, Healthcare and Retail, Entertainment & Media clients within North America, UK, and Asia.

As Chief Digital Officer of EXL - a $2BN Nasdaq listed company that provides strategic digital transformation solutions and services to Fortune 500 companies - Ankor's responsibilities include deepening EXL’s cloud/data/analytics/AI capabilities and designing and deploying client digital solutions that deliver the trifecta impact of the improved experience, outcomes and efficiency.

EXL Digital is also charged with building EXL's next growth engine - data/AI powered “thin human” digital solutions and managed services - to solve large industry problems.

In his prior role, Ankor grew EXL's Analytics business from a niche double-digit revenue analytics practice into a $350M+ full-stack analytics powerhouse that is independently reported to the street. Leveraging its differentiated market position of an "enterprise execution partner with a data/analytics core", EXL analytics delivered 24 quarters of continuous revenue growth. Along the way, Ankor led several strategic pivots including the expansion of data/analytics capabilities through organic investment and acquisitions and integration of various domain and technical capabilities to move from services toward solutions. EXL Analytics has been recognized by various industry analysts including Gartner, IDC, and HFS.

Anita M. Mahon
Executive Vice President and Business Head Healthcare

Anita Mahon leads our global health business and is a member of the Executive Committee. Anita stepped into this role in 2022, where she is responsible for managing EXL’s 2nd largest industry vertical, serving healthcare payers, providers, pharmacy benefit managers and clients in the life sciences industry.

Anita joined EXL in 2020 as Executive Vice President and Chief Growth and Strategy Officer. In this role, she led the development of a strategic plan that executed on EXL’s overall growth goals, and worked closely with the sales and business teams to ensure the implementation of EXL’s long-term strategy and drive the next phase of growth for EXL.

Prior to EXL, Anita served as Vice President, Data, Strategy & Portfolio Officer for IBM Watson Health. While at Watson Health, Anita also served as Chief Marketing Officer and led value-based-care strategy and marketing.

Anita joined IBM with its acquisition of Truven Health Analytics in 2016. As Chief Strategy Officer at Truven, Anita led the definition and implementation of the company’s corporate growth strategy and development. Prior to joining Truven Health in 2006, she served as executive director for a business that is now part of Ericsson.

Anita earned a master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School, a Master of Science degree in computer science from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and computer science from Manhattan College.

Nalin Miglani
Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer

Nalin Miglani is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer. He is responsible for building a market-leading, client-centric workforce, growing and nurturing talent on a global scale. Nalin has delivered business-driven HR strategy at global, national and regional levels. He was most recently the Chief HR and Corporate Development Officer for Nutreco, a $5 billion global leader in animal and fish nutrition, where he led the creation of a comprehensive framework for strategic execution and a new rewards strategy, among other initiatives.

Nalin also served as the Chief HR and Communication officer for the $1.5 billion Tata Global Beverages Company, where he focused on organizational design and cultural transformation. He also held various global and regional HR leadership roles around the world during a 10-year career at The Coca-Cola Company.

Nalin holds an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a BA in Economics from the University of Delhi.

Maurizio Nicolelli
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Maurizio Nicolelli joined EXL in Jan 2020 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Maurizio brings tremendous financial, operational and leadership experience to his role as head of EXL’s finance function. A member of EXL’s Executive Committee, Maurizio is based at EXL’s corporate headquarters in New York.

Prior to EXL, Maurizio was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Casa Systems. Previously, he served 23 years at FactSet Research Systems, where he was Senior Vice President, Principal and CFO.

Maurizio holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from St. John’s University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ajay Ayyappan
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Ajay Ayyappan is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He is a member of the Executive Committee and serves as Global Head of the Legal function with responsibility for all legal matters. He leads a team of over 25 attorneys and other legal professionals across EXL operations. Ajay joined EXL in 2007 as an Assistant General Counsel, and immediately prior to his current role he was Deputy General Counsel of the company. Ajay has over 16 years of experience across M&A, commercial contracting, securities, regulatory compliance and corporate secretarial work. He started his career in 2002 as a Corporate Associate at the New York offices of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

Ajay holds a Juris Doctor from the Fordham University School of Law where he served as an Editor of the Law Review, and a B.A. from Binghamton University.

Vikas Bhalla
Executive Vice President and Business Head, Insurance

Vikas Bhalla is a member of EXL’s Executive Committee and leads the Insurance business. Vikas stepped into this role in 2014 and has contributed significantly to the growth of the company, doubling the size of EXL’s largest industry vertical. Since he stepped into this role, EXL’s Insurance business has evolved to a global, strategic transformation partner across both the Life & Annuities and Property & Casualty markets and has been recognized as a leader by industry analysts.

After joining EXL in 2001, Vikas helped EXL establish its Process Excellence, Migrations and Consulting organizations. As global delivery head for EXL’s Operations Management business from 2009 to 2013, Vikas helped EXL expand delivery locations into new countries including the Philippines, South Africa, Eastern and Central Europe and US.

A thought leader in the areas of insurance, business operations and digital transformation, Vikas has led various strategic initiatives over the years including the launch of platforms and BPaaS-solutions, outcome-based engagement models, and value-driven transformation. He is presently leading EXL’s move to a ‘Work from Anywhere’ enabled Future Operating Model.

Vivek Jetley
Executive Vice President and Business Head, Analytics

Vivek Jetley is Executive Vice President and Head of EXL Analytics, a fast growing, 4000-person strong Data & Analytics business spread across US, UK, Europe, Australia and Asia Pacific. EXL Analytics has grown 25x since 2010 and is now one of the largest analytics service providers in the world. EXL Analytics leverages its advanced analytics and AI expertise, proprietary data assets, and enterprise data management capability to design and deliver solutions that deliver business outcomes for Fortune 500 clients.

Vivek is a seasoned business leader with 20+ years of experience in strategy and management consulting to Insurance, Financial Services, Media and Healthcare companies across the world. He has broad experience in using Analytics for Marketing, Risk Management, New Product Development, Operations and Financial Management.

Vivek has been with EXL since the acquisition of Inductis in 2006, where he was a Partner. He has excelled in various leadership roles within EXL including heading enterprise strategy and setting up a strategic deal team. In his current role he helped build the EXL Analytics business, and shaped its overall strategy and capabilities through partnerships, investments and business acquisitions.

Before EXL, Vivek was a partner at Inductis, a specialized Analytics consulting firm that focused on Financial Services and Healthcare clients and started his career as a consultant with Mitchell Madison Group. He is a Computer Engineering Graduate with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Narasimha Kini
Executive Vice President and Business Head, Emerging

Kini is the global leader for EXL’s emerging business that cuts across all industry verticals, where he owns sales, client relationship management, product development and service delivery. He joined EXL in 2001 and has built market-leading capabilities in F&A, including finance transformation and risk advisory services for global clients. In his earlier role, Kini incubated and grew a high impact CFO consulting business from 0 to 250+ consultants with a number of F500 clients. As part of the leadership team of an early start up company, Kini led and supported various strategic initiatives, including raising venture capital, strategic sale of the company and buy-back and recapitalization.

Kini has over 20 years of experience in CFO services outsourcing, public accounting, consulting, financial management and risk advisory services. Prior to joining EXL, he has worked with two of the Big 4 accounting firms in their business assurance and consulting divisions where he extensively served varied clients in financial services, manufacturing, retail, and the energy sector. Kini is an industry recognized thought leader and has been a speaker on leading edge topics such as the Changing Role of the CFO, Digital Finance Transformation, Finance Innovation in Insurance Companies and Regulatory Compliance in Financial Services Firms.

Kini is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant licensee candidate. His other credentials include CISA, CIA, CFM and CMA. He has also successfully completed qualifying exams and is a licensee candidate for CISM and CISSP.

Sonila Pokharia
Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer

Sonila Pokharia is EXL’s Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer (CCO). In this role, Sonila is responsible for leading a world class Compliance and Ethics program.

Sonila brings significant operational compliance experience having worked extensively in the highly regulated insurance industry. Prior to her role as CCO, Sonila led service delivery for EXL’s Life and Annuities business. Joining EXL in 2001, Sonila has made significant contributions to strengthening EXL’s insurance capabilities in Insurance and the business. She was also instrumental in establishing new delivery sites in locations such as Manila, Philippines, and Richmond, VA.

Sonila holds a Masters in Economics from Jodhpur University, India.

Sherri Walsh
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer

Sherri Walsh leads EXL’s clinical services for the healthcare marketplace and is the Chief Nursing Officer. She is a member of the Operating Committee. In this role, Sherri guides and shapes EXL’s strategy, capabilities and operational excellence for clinical care standards and how they are delivered to clients.

Sherri joined EXL in 2019. She has more than 25 years of industry expertise in healthcare, holding leadership positions in several leading healthcare organizations spanning the provider, payer, and PBM markets. Sherri has extensive experience in running global and domestic operations, clinical product development and management, and enabling capabilities that drive efficient, consumer friendly solutions that bridge the gap between business, clinical, technology and client needs.

Sherri also has a passion for giving back to the community. She was a Volunteer Firefighter/Assistant Fire Chief for her community for more than 20 years, served on the board of directors for a leading womens leadership organization, and continues to support her local community in diverse roles.

Sherri is a Registered Nurse and holds a master of business administration from Cardinal Stritch University.

Baljinder Singh
Senior Vice President, Global Head of Digital Transformation and Chief Information Officer

Baljinder is Senior Vice President, Global Head of Digital Transformation and Chief Information Officer. He joined EXL as part of the founding management team and has over twenty years of global leadership in Business, Technology, Product Development, Transformation and Digital.

Baljinder leads strategy, innovation, client engagements and delivery of Digital Business solutions powered by Domain Expertise, Data based Analytical Context and Advanced Digital Technologies - delivering enhanced Customer Experience and Intelligent Business Operations.

He manages Advanced Digital Technologies and Productization of Digital Solutions in industry domains of Insurance, HealthCare, Banking, F&A, Utilities, Transportation and Travel.

A strategic thinker with a distinguished combination of business domain knowledge, advanced digital technologies expertise and consultative solutioning; he partners with the clients to reimagine their business and drive transformational outcomes and accelerated business impact.

In his roles as the Global CIO and Global Head of Product Development, he has envisioned and fostered EXL's enterprise and business-technology landscape and built the foundation of and managed our commercial-technology offerings through product development and platform business services.

Baljinder has a bachelor in electronics engineering and holds accreditations from Kellogg School of Management and Indian School of Business. He is an active member of the Chief Digital Officer, CTO and CIO fraternity, a distinguished speaker and a contributor in industry initiatives. He has been named in the 'CIO100 Hall of Fame' as industry leaders that drive strategic business value through Technology and Analytics Innovation.

Keith Johnson
Senior Vice President and Global Insurance Digital Lead

Keith leads the ideation, incubation, go-to-market and business operations for all new digital insurance industry solutions for P&C and L&A at EXL. He is a proven executive with over 30 years of diverse business experience. Previously, Keith was a Partner at Accenture where he ran the Life insurance e-commerce practice, CRM practice and Insurance BPO practice. He also served as Client Partner for a number of large insurance carriers and served as the COO / CIO for Marketplace by John Hancock. Today at EXL, Keith’s main focuses are helping build new growth engines using digital technologies, leading the global L&A strategy, managing analyst relations, overseeing insurance consulting for P&C and L&A, and ensuring a differentiated customer experience through digital enablement leveraging EXL’s proprietary software assets (LifePRO® and LISS), analytics and operations management. Keith earned his AB in Computer Science from Brown University.

Mike Toma
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Mike has overall responsibility for commercial software product solutions at EXL. In this role, he is charged with co-leading EXL’s digital strategy, innovation and product incubation programs and is responsible for delivering a portfolio of innovative and market leading products and solutions that serve clients across their service value chain to enhance growth, profitability and customer experience in a dynamic digital world.

Mike has 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and a fortune 500 technology executive in US Domestic and International markets. He is a digital innovator with a track record of leading and leveraging disruptive technology trends and using innovation to lead business and technology transformations to drive business growth.

Mike joined EXL in 2016 after nearly 13 years with ADP. Most recently, as SVP & CIO, he led ADP’s International product and technology organizations in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific regions. Prior to this role, Mike served as CTO for ADP leading the innovation and digital transformation of its cloud solutions for 5 years. He started at ADP as CTO of ADP’s Time & Labor Management Group after his start-up was acquired in 2003.

Bhavna Newle Chopra
Senior Vice President

Bhavna Newle Chopra is Senior Vice President in Operations Management Department and leads several strategic initiatives. She has a sound understanding of operational parameters, such as client relationship, migrations, workforce planning & optimization and Six Sigma-based process improvement.

A certified Green Belt, Bhavna has held a variety of cross functional leadership positions at EXL, WNS and GE Capital International Services. She has a history of successfully leading large teams, delivering financial results and driving organizational efficiency by redesigning process and leveraging technology.

Andy Logani
SVP, Head of Life & Annuity Business, EXL

Andy Logani has a proven track record of leading business growth by generating profitable new revenue streams, building effective delivery teams, and driving disruptive and innovative business models.

He has over 18 years of client management, operations and consulting experience in the Insurance industry and has demonstrated expertise across a broad set of domain areas including capability sourcing, Robotics Process Automation, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

Andy has previously established and successfully delivered a $200MM transformation program for a Global Insurance Carrier. He has also helped multiple carriers in designing and deploying enterprise wide RPA Center of Excellence

In his current role, Andy is the Global Head of Client Management & Business Development for the Life & Annuities vertical. He is responsible for managing a $120 million L&A portfolio. He also drives L&A strategy and transformation offering. Andy represents EXL frequently in industry forums and conferences.

Andy is a Bachelor in Commerce and holds an MBA in International Business. He is a certified Black Belt from Motorola University.

Sanjay Dutt
SVP & Global Head of HR Centers of Excellence

Sanjay Dutt has over 29 years of experience in talent management, capability development, digital HR, and employee engagement.

Sanjay joined EXL in 2010 and leads the Capability Development, Recruitment, Digital HR Operations and Communication functions at EXL, globally. He also provides leadership to our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Global Employee Wellness initiatives.

His key focus is to create and drive an integrated Talent strategy, in line with EXL’s long term strategy. This includes providing the right balance between Talent acquisition and development from within, proactively building a talent pool comprising of digital, domain and leadership capabilities. Over the years, he has created business-critical capability development programs at EXL through focused domain and functional academies. He has established an organization-wide digital learning ecosystem to ensure personalized learning, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

As the global lead for the Digital HR Operations, Sanjay is responsible for envisioning and implementing a digital transformation road-map for HR, which enhances employee experience, improves productivity and catalyzes growth as EXL’s talent base expands globally

Prior to joining EXL, Sanjay was a Partner at Accenture, where he led capability development for their outsourcing organization. He also previously served as Director for Performance Enhancement & Training at American Express.

Sanjay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from the Delhi University and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, India. Sanjay is part of the NASSCOM Policy Advisory Group (Labour), member of the Chandigarh University Corporate Advisory Board and is a frequent speaker at several global learning and HR forums.

Namit Sureka
Senior Vice President, AI & Analytics

Namit is Senior Vice President, AI & Analytics at EXL Analytics. He is a seasoned professional with 15+ years of extensive experience in analytics and consulting. Namit has advised several Fortune 500 companies to find innovative data-driven solutions across Customer Marketing Strategy, Risk Management, Operations, Strategic Cost Management, & Customer Servicing Strategy.

Namit’s expertise across Banking & Financial Services, Retail, E-commerce, Telecom & Media enables him to pioneer new analytics functions, develop innovative business solutions, and improve organizational processes. He is a strategic leader and trusted advisor focused on driving business results and maximizing profitability.

He holds an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Amy Lupinski
Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Amy has overall responsibility for the business HR function.  She leads a team of HR business partners who are focused on the execution of a global talent strategy.  This includes strategic workforce planning and program execution, attraction and retention activities, employee engagement, identification of talent needs and gaps and development of leadership to enable business success.

Amy joined EXL in 2022.  Prior to that, she spent 25+ years with IBM and the IBM infrastructure services’ spin-off, Kyndryl.  Amy held multiple global HR leadership roles within a large complex and heavily matrixed environment which included software development, research labs, sales and services. She has rich experience in a variety of HR roles including workforce strategy and planning, leadership and succession planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee communications and significant amount of time spent on M&A activity.  Amy is known for building trusted relationships and designing and executing HR programs and practices with data insights, simplicity and transparency.

Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois.

Raghav Jaggi
Senior Vice President, Insurance

Raghav Jaggi co-leads EXL’s global property & casualty (P&C) and insurance finance & accounting business lines at EXL. In this role, he oversees all aspects of strategy, growth, account management, solutions, and service delivery for the P&C practice. Raghav also serves as a member of EXL’s Operating Committee.

Raghav has more than 20 years of experience providing expert services to the insurance industry. He joined EXL during its nascent stage and has played a pivotal role in developing EXL’s relationships with leading insurance organizations in the U.S., UK, and Europe. He guides the development and delivery of digital transformation initiatives that help our clients improve customer experience, efficiency & regulatory compliance, and increase revenue. Raghav is passionate about helping clients solve their most pressing challenges through data-driven decision-making and builds long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. He has been instrumental in redesigning the next-generation operating models for leading P&C carriers through digital services, claims automation, and advanced analytics. Under his leadership, EXL’s P&C practice has received numerous industry awards and analyst recognitions.

Raghav has a bachelor's degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and attended the Advanced Management Program at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
