Rohit Kapoor
Rohit Kapoor is the Chairman and CEO of EXL. Under his leadership, EXL has become a world leader in data and AI, driving the digital transformation strategies of many of the world's largest companies across insurance, banking and finance, healthcare, and other industries. He led the company's IPO in 2006 and has since driven a series of strategic acquisitions that expanded its capabilities and global reach — building a resilient, future-ready organization that consistently outperforms its peers and stands at the forefront of AI and digital transformation.
In 2025, Rohit was named the EY Entrepreneur of The Year® New York Award winner — honored for long-term value creation, entrepreneurial leadership, and purpose-driven commitment. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum's AI Governance Alliance, reflecting his active role in shaping responsible AI globally.
Rohit joined the Board of CA Technologies in 2011 and later became Lead Director. He served until the company's acquisition by Broadcom in 2018, when he stepped down from the Board.
Deeply committed to giving back, Rohit serves on the boards of the American Red Cross and the American India Foundation.
Rohit holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Outside of work, he is an avid golfer and lives in New York.
