Why is supplier diversity important to EXL?

At EXL, we recognize the importance of having a diverse supplier base that reflects the values of our clients around the world. Is there a fee for registering in the program?

There is no fee for participating in EXL's diversity program, however there may be a cost associated with certification from a third-party organization.

How do I become a certified company?

EXL accepts certifications from various third-party organizations. You may visit the website of one of the following organizations for more information.

  • National Minority Supplier Development Council and regional affiliates
  • Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
  • U.S. Business Leadership Network (USBLN)
  • National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
  • National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)
  • Small Business Administration (SBA)
  • Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Development Council (CAMSC)
  • Supply Nation
  • Other federal government agencies
  • State or local (county, city) government agencies
  • U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce

How will I know if my company has been selected?

If EXL or any of its subsidiaries is in need of products or services that your company provides, you may be contacted by a procurement professional to request a quote.

What is the purpose of the supplier registration form?

The purpose of the registration form is to give diverse businesses an opportunity to express their interest in EXL as well as provide EXL procurement professionals with a centralized souring database for diverse business.

How large does my company have to be to participate?

The size of your organization does not matter as long as you are able to provide the product or service in a timely fashion based on EXL's stated uality and standards requirements.

How does EXL define diverse suppliers?

EXL defines a diverse supplier as one of the following categories:

  • Minority owned
  • Woman owned
  • Gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender owned
  • Veteran owned
  • Disability owned
  • A small business enterprise
