Shirish Apte is a seasoned banking executive and independent non-executive director with over three decades of experience across global financial services. He has held senior leadership roles at Citigroup, including Co-CEO for EMEA and Regional CEO for Asia Pacific, and served on Citi’s Executive and Operating Committees. He was also Chairman of Citi’s Asia Pacific Banking division until his retirement in 2014. His expertise spans corporate and investment banking, risk management, and retail banking, with a strong focus on APAC, the Middle East, and emerging markets. Shirish currently serves on the boards of Standard Chartered PLC, Hillhouse Investments, Singapore Life, Keppel Corporation and a Member of the EXL APAC Advisory.
